Uploading lotsa posts today lol.. sorry for the flood

Was in a crafting mood .. so I used the stuff I bought from Daiso yesterday to make a card for my friend who has just given birth ^_^

Wrapper and ribbon from Daiso. Wrapping paper was glued onto cardstock for better support. And because I liked the card so much, I made an envelop for it... lol. Used a normal A4 sized envelop and cut it down to size. Pity I didn't have brown coloured ones, else it would really be much nicer.

As requested by, foxyseven (+ the fact that I really like my collapsible box and would like to show to all the incredibleness of it) here are some pictures to show how it work :P

1. Still in it's packaging

2.
I passed my final theory test!!!!! ^___________________^ next step would be to find a good private driving instructor >< The lady at the driving centre said that I would need the IC of my instructor and my PDL before I can apply for the Practical test ><

Last Saturday, I woke up to the sound of children shouting. Groggily went to the balcony to take a look and saw that they were doing filming! Quickly grabbed my FZ5 and snapped a few photos ^_^ I really love the x12 zoom on it. It picked up all the details that my eyes couldn't catch! The children are so cute lol.. kinda pity them tho, the sun was really hot ><

On May Day, FL dragged lazy me away from my GE gaming to go East Coast for cycling ^^; Decided to be healthy and walked to Lakeside MRT despite the fact that it was crazily sunny >< But managed to capture the beautiful grass patch beside the station ^_^

The grass is pretty tall, maybe slightly shorter than your knees. There is a little pathway that leads from the MRT station to the condominiums in the background ... when people walk along this path, it gives the illusion that they are swimming in the grass ^_^ Once they develop the lakeside area, I'm pretty sure this plot of land will become concrete buildings =( *takes photo for rememberance*

We cycled to the other end of East Cost Park and were pleasantly surprised by a new developed area! Atmosphere there was really nice (doesn't feel like I'm in Singapore!) There was an African drum performance (Liladrums.com) going on. Very nice and catchy rhythms ^_^ And you can tell the performers were really enjoying themslves :D. They offer classes $200 for 8 lessons at either Queestown CC or 116 Telok Kurau Road

'The Sea food International Market and Restaurant' is also located there. It has a really interesting concept ... you can purchase the fresh seafood direct from the restaurant! I like their tagline 'If it swims we have it' LOL

Outside view of 'The Sea Food International Market and Restaurant' So pretty .. doesn't feel like it's in east coast park. Each table actually has it's own room surrounded by glass panels. Really exclusive. They are having a Mother's Day promotion, $398++ for 6 pax. They also have the Business Set lunch $28++ per pax, min 2 pax.

After cycling, we decided to have dinner at an Irish pub amusingly named Scruffy Murphy. It was nice to sit there and feel the sea breeze ^^

GE news: I finally got Catherin's hips!!! Woohooo! Also, just 11 patches of dresses away from making the costume for my elementalist ^_^

I have this to thank for my successful passing of the Final Theory test :P I'm such a geek...

After passing the Final Theory test, I decided to go to IMM for abit of shopping indulgence XD. Bought a $19 top from the G2000 sale, and some miscellaneous stuff from Daiso :D

Was a fun 2 hr activity, for our lesson, the weapon used was the epee and during the last hour, we all attired up and had 1 on 1 matches ...inclusive of electronic scoring devices :D so cool ^^ The sword was surpringly heavier than I expected and as a result, my arm is aching slightly now ^^;

Now I know how my fighter in GE feels right now since he's training his Epee Garde hahahahahaha...

Been playing abit of GE lately ^^;; It's more interesting when you have a quest to complete instead of mindless grinding just to achieve a certain level >< Plus the fact that with my new system, it's able to handle the game playing in the background while I work on other things on the PC ^_^ In the past, the whole system will crash and die =_=...

Celebrated FL's birthday last Wednesday at Swiss Culture in Suntec :D She managed to get a 1 for 1 promotion for their chocolate fondue for only $15!!! Food there was pretty good, slightly pricy tho .. about $30 per pax, but we ate so much, it was pretty worth it I guess hahaha...

Birthday girl with her carrot soup. It was visually pleasing, but the way they tweaked the chinese folklore + the heavily chinese accented dialogue made it feel abit weird @_@

Watched Whisper of the heart from Ghibil Studios, really nice show. Brings out very nice warm feelings when you watch the anime ^^ They always have very independant strong main characters.

I like how it's currently further away from all the hustle and bustle plus the big park around our place is still relatively uncrowded .. no doubt developing the area will make everything more convenient, but I'll somehow miss the old jurong area ><

http://sg.news.yahoo.com/cna/20080404/tap-339270-231650b.html

On another note, I just can't get enough of singing 五月天 at karaoke ^_^ They rock!! What you doin' young man
I'm paintin' flowers he said
She said... It's not the time for art young man
And anyway flowers are green and red
There's a time for everything young man
And a way it should be done
You've got to show concern for everyone else
For you're not the only one

And she said...
Flowers are red young man
Green leaves are green
There's no need to see flowers any other way
Than they way they always have been seen

But the little boy said...
There are so many colors in the rainbow
So many colors in the morning sun
So many colors in the flower and I see every one

Well the teacher said..
